I bought the cool frame below for the frame ($19) thinking I could enlarge a print to go in it. I hung her up and I find myself getting attached to her. The sketch was drawn when I was three years old so she would be my age now. Maybe it's me! I brought home the platter as well and can see a small turkey on it for Thanksgiving.Now, I wonder if I can find a used bulletproof vest so I can go back to Walterboro? I hope they solve some of this crime soon so y'all can check out the deals.

Your visit to the stores makes me think that I should go looking for some antique treasures soon. The platter is very attractive and just cries out for a nice browned turkey to grace it's plate.
Lovely finds! I also have a framed piece on my wall that I intended to do something else with - it's a photo portrait of two sisters and a brother from the 1800s... they are so haunting and nice to look at, I hung them up in my hall years ago and there they remain! Love that platter, too...
Ach...grammar police! Sometimes I type without thinking or proofreading: it should read "to grace its plate." I can't help it; I'm an English teacher!!

Wouldn't it be funny to think that pictures we take of our families might be on someone's wall many years to come?
