How much rain is too much?

Highly offended at Lake Marion
The wildlife crowd at Lake Marion has voted with lively and offended squawks that the water level is simply TOO high when kayakers can paddle up to peer in their nests. This fella was in the upper nest. I got the message!

These dock lights are so low the only boat you could get under them would be a kayak. That wasn't the intention!

"Too much" rain is a rare occurance in Dallas. If it ever happens I'll let you know.

Yikes. That water needs somewhere to go. And fast!

Happy that you heeded the warning! This is my third try; just cannot see some of those letters and numbers. Correction: fourth try now.

Had to do it Kate. I was drowning in spam comments.

I know. We have just had way more than our share this year. I think we got yours as well.

Jack, it is a man made lake. I think the let some run off today. I believe they can control it to a certain extent.

You were up close and personal with an osprey. They're fierce but cool, sometimes even a little goofy!

Yes, tell the powers that be to let some of your rain come over my way!
