Horsing around in Charleston

King St., Charleston, S.C.

I've passed this a thousand times and finally took a picture of it. It is at the Library Society building on King St.

I am off to Lake Marion. Shall I risk taking my camera on the water? Yes. No. Yes. No. Yes. No. Maybe. I think so.

I'd advise against it; I have a perfectly good camera lying at the bottom of the St. Croix river in Minnesota, the result of a tipped over canoe. Humans were in good condition despite the bad canoe protocol of a visitor from India who was not familiar with watercraft.

Take your pocket camera, don't risk the 'good' one. Aside from that, have a great time.

Love your before and afters from yesterday.

This looks familiar. Oh, I remember now....the original Godfather, right? :)

Have fun at the lake.

How are you going to take pictures for us if you don't take your camera?

I couldn't let myself risk my DSLR. It's just too precious. One of these days I will but today I took my pocket camera. Not that it didn't cost a bit too but not as much as the other. Nice day!

I like this shot. Architectural details always appeal to me.

That would make one kick-ass tattoo.

Jack - there is one on each side of the path. I imagine they were for securing horses?

Marcheline - only you would think that! Cool!
