Avondale Mural, Charleston, S.C. |
I came home to an almost finished ceiling in my study so it's worth dusting and mopping another room to live in again. One more bedroom to go. This feels like it has taken forever. I put off coming home long enough that I stopped by Sesame at Citadel Mall for the only thing I have ever eaten at Sesame - roasted corn on the cob and the ultimate grilled cheese. So good.
If you are a mural fan here is an event tomorrow evening that might be of interest: Pop Up Show - Gadsden Funeral Home
Here is an update on another one of the Avondale murals:

Murals are SO much fun. Got my roasted corn at the MN State Fair the t'other day! Num!!
I love Sesame's roasted corn on the cob. My sister and I stop in for that whenever we can. Thanks for the memory!
I like the looks of that "muralista"! Is that a word?
Kate - I love roasted corn. Is it your state fair season already?
Me too! I order one everytime I go. I never get a bad ear.
Muralista. I like it. I had an email asking about an artist to do a commissioned piece and was able to put them together. Felt good.
Just visiting from Marcheline's blog to say hello to another Scot.
Great to discover your blog. My mouth is watering at the thought of the grilled corn and cheese - it's breakfast time here in Edinburgh!
Yup, it ends today. Great event every year...about 12 days (?) and always closes on Labor Day.
Hiya Linda! I visited Edinburgh not too long ago when I hiked Hadrian's Wall. I loved it. Thanks for dropping by.
