Portrait of a Woman without Internet Access

Summerville, S.C.

Me. One week after my internet access went down. I am slowly coming back to life. ;) None too soon. I was looking for my knitting. The needles were rusty.

Great pictures, as usual!

Where is that statue in Summerville? I live there, but never seen it?

I've seen that Bad Antiques building a bunch of times and I always crack up when I see it. What a terrible name for a business haha.

alwaysandnever - She is in the little park in the square in town. We parked there for a few minutes and I noticed her.

Maybe that's why Bad Antiques looks so very closed, eh?!

Funny story! Glad your internet is doing better. I'm not sure what I used to do before the internet.

Ha!!! As the page was loading, I thought the picture was going to be one of you pulling your hair out by the roots. When the picture loaded, I got a giggle.

Thanks!

This cracked me up! Not the sculpture, which is beautiful, but what you wrote. Sounds right to me.

Ah, that stoic, determined and steely gaze... or, simply anger at technology gone awry.

We are all SO happy you are reconnected to the world. Next, time, do not fiddle while that re doing routine maintenance. OVERSEE and take charge. it will certainly then be done right.

I loved Bad Antiques. One most stop at a place with that opinion of itself. Bad in whose eyes?

Happy Thanksgiving, Joan. Enjoy!

Now that your web is rewoven, you can check out the woody I posted on my blog :-)

Doug - I can guarantee you that the first thing I did was ...ahem, check you woody.

Frank - I'm back! Whew. I had to be strong.

Jarart - Even tv is boring now, isn't it? I usually have it on in the background with my lap top in my lap.

Marcheline - I do have bald spots and I do love you!

Halcyon - Thank you. Amen. What did we do with the time? I know, cook, clean, wash......
