Tin can alley

Antique Barn, Camden, SC
The metal work critters were so colorful they called for a quick roadside stop at the Antique Barn in Camden, SC. Owls, chickens, goats, dogs and lighthouses oh my!

We've had a long stretch of over 90 degree weather.
Didn't quite make my 10,000 steps. Almost but not quite.

I woke to 94 degrees at 4:45 AM! Our humidity is very low but still I have never seen such a high temp so early in the morning. I need the mountains! And of course by January/February I will be complaining of the cold. Have a good one, Joan!

What an eclectic mix, Joan!

Joan, if you're counting on FitBit to tell you when you've reached 10,000 steps be aware that all of those things have proven to be inaccurate.

I use an app on my cell phone. For awhile I had two on it so I could compare. They were pretty close. When I used pedometers they were very inaccurate. Still the count is oddly motivating.

Oh it is ridiculous and has lasted so long. If it would just cool down at night it would help. I end up walking between 8:30 and 9 pm and try to get back in by dark.
