Charlestowne Landing, Charleston, S.C. |
I am the most timid bicycle rider you can imagine. I didn't grow up riding bikes and have no interest in riding in the company of cars. I do however, like the idea and wanted to be able to take a bike to ride on peaceful park paths and county roads. Meet my new baby! She is a folding bike that I can fold completely in half and put inside my car. Woohoo! Ain't she just a little bit pretty?
The bike is a
Citizen Miami and came almost completely assembled. I took her for a spin at Charlestowne Landing and haven't killed anyone yet. I think I will like this!
This week has been a bit of a rat race. I am ready for the weekend.

Perfect for you, Joan! She is a beauty and versatile! Enjoy her! You could name her Miss Bonnie Blue Bell!!
(from Sandy Hammond!)
PS Happy Spring!! We have snow today and yesterday in NE!!
That is a neat bike!
She's sweet! From my point of view, the most important part is the seat. Like the one on your new bike - it's built to hold your entire... seat. I tried to ride bikes as an adult, but the seats were so narrow and only supported the bones - and not the entire.... seat. I was limping for DAYS! Looks like you made a wise choice in both ease of use, storage, and support! Enjoy!
Marcheline, I actually added the few extra bucks for the upgraded seat. You make me grateful that I did!
Oh, the blossoms are popping out here!
I think it is William!
Depending on the road, I don't avoid riding with cars, but it such liberation freedom when you find an auto-free bike trail. May you ride in good health.
