Cancel the climate change debate

Waterfront Park, Charleston, S.C.
Cancel the climate change debate. When I find a kangaroo at the Waterfront Park in Charleston, climate change is settled. I never know what I am going to find on a walk-about.

In other news, Read Charlie is searching for The Desperate Chef. It might be you or someone you know!
We are searching for the star of CHARLIE and Le Creuset’s new national video and column series, “The Desperate Chef.” The ideal candidate is charming, personable and has the innate ability to make a delicious meal out of seemingly nothing. Must be a good cook, great on camera, good with people and incredibly resourceful/inventive in the kitchen. Past culinary experience is a plus but not necessary. Show is based in Charleston, South Carolina. All interested applicants should send a cover letter, resume and photo to caitlin@readcharlie.com.
Candidates advancing to round two in the talent search will be contacted and asked to submit a homemade video telling us why you should be The Desperate Chef.

So they really want anyone that is a good cook? Like home cooks that can make a great meal from next to nothing?

I think so! Go for it!

Yes, it is great. I think the kangaroo owners had friends in Australia and were posing it around town for a photo set.

Lovely and sunny today. Had to be outside. Sweet!

It really has. There is a new restaurant opening every week. Not in my neighborhood sadly.

I have some nice photos of that fountain, but none with kangaroos.
