Further on the same drive through this little town is a giant carved eagle. Sadly on this trip it looks like part of his beak is missing. Too much time in the sun without sunblock? It happens to us all.

Hey! I want a carved bear, too, but so far, no luck.
Let's go take lessons, Jack. I found a guy in Minnesota who teaches you how to carve a bear. I don't know how we'd get them home though!
On the train? LOL!
I have seen a chainsaw artist...very interesting...and dangerous.
That will be lots of fun when you're having a couple of glasses of wine, relaxing, the sun is just going down, and you look out your back window, forgetting...
P.S. If you haven't yet seen the movie "The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel", do so immediately. Bear and I watched it last night, and I kept thinking of you. Haven't been able to peel the smile off my face ever since, you will LOVE this movie! 8-)
Tricky!
They are. Not sure it would be my best skill.
Hahah....I want one though.
I did see it! What a hoot. Shall we retire to India? My brother should set up a hotel for us.
LET'S DO IT!
Someone is a very talented carver of wood... a life sized pterodactyl would be kinda cool too :^)
He is building cabins. We can each have our own. Gotta make sure he has flush toilets though before we settle in.
Doug - you may need to go take the classes with us in Minnesota. :)
