I drive by this retro looking laundromat most Fridays after my end of the week movie and each time I think "I need to get a picture of that one of these days". Today was the day. Isn't it cool?

No, but they do in the theater. Put your wash in and go to a movie.
Looks like the aliens like it, too. Note their vehicle hovering overhead. ;)

Glad that I don't have to use these; more convenient at home.
That alien piece is what I like. I think it needs turning around. It seems to face the wrong way. I'm surprised no hurricane has taken it out.

Is this the one at the Terrace? The alien headpiece is a newer addition, but this laundromat has seen many incarnations over the years!

I liked Mike's comment about laundry today: "What's the big deal. You throw all the clothes in the washer, turn a couple of dials, then sit back and wait for it. If you wait long enough you don't even have to use the dryer. Bonus!"
Washing machines are one of my favorite appliances. Dishwashers are another.
