Can I put this on my door tomorrow and close up shop? I spotted this sign on the door of Architectural Antiques & Design on St. Andrews Blvd.when I stopped by Hokus Pokus looking for Super Hero accessories.
I admit, I had no idea who Ann Miller was or what the quote related to but google solved that:

I recall seeing Ann Miller in movies and was transfixed...a leggy beautiful brunette who danced like a dream!
i remember her well. she weas a great actress as well as a terrfic dancer.(telling my age) Roy Blackwell
Wow! You didn't grow up with TV so it isn't surprising you missed her. The movies of that period were a staple of TV until the networks took over with their programming. She was a heck of a hoofer. That's hoofer not hooker as my keyboard initially typed in.
I'd heard of her...now I've seen her. She's pretty darn hot allright. ;)

I posted a video of this song awhile back but I missed this one. Ann Miller was known for her legs. I think you can see why in this video. Thanks!
She really is! Wowza!
Roy - she is something else!
New to me but the gal can wiggle!
Yes, she is. Fun little video. :)
It's funny that the person putting the sign on the door assumed everyone would know who she was. Of course they were selling antiques.
I noticed that myself when I was 10.
I LOVE THAT YOU CAPTURED THAT SIGN! LOVE IT! It's exactly how I feel... It's been too darn hot for too darn long, I am seriously contemplating the north pole, hee... Great shot Joan!
You haven't lived until you have seen Ann Miller's 1970 Great American Soup commercial. Here's a link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5jU2pl7bqKg
I will check it out. My 10 year stint without tv in India left some gaps in my general knowledge.
