I parked on Broad St. and walked down to the City Waterfront Gallery to hear my friend Yuriy Bekker play with the Piccolo Spoleto Festival Spotlight Concert Series. He was awesome as always. He is a magician with a violin playing with old friends.
We spotted this character playing on the corner as we headed to the bar at Blossoms for a bite to eat. My risotto was just an excuse to eat a pile of Mepkin Abbey mushrooms. Yummers.

His name is Ralph Longshore.
He's a regular busker (street performer) during Asheville's Bele Chere Festival.

You know, that looks really cool and interesting and all... but very uncomfortable. Makes me feel a bit claustrophobic.
