St. Patrick's Day Parade - King St.
St. Patrick's Day Parade, King St., Charleston, S.C.
They might not look like it here but this gang consists of some cracker jack Emergency Room staff from Bon Secours St. Francis Hospital! More photos here.
This looks like the type of parade you could go to and actually enjoy yourself. Our's here in Dallas is HUGE, so big you have to park miles away and walk and walk and.... It's just wall-to-wall people. I'd much prefer yours.
True. Also I am glad that they are throwing candy again. It seemed for a while that they stopped that. There were people cleaning up sidewalks during the actual parade but things seemed very pleasant and manageable. A very good day.

When there is fun to be had in Charleston, Joan is there! Love the portrait of the serious violinists.

Jack - I went out for my usual walk and it soon dawned on me I didn't even have any green on. I grabbed some beads that were thrown and fixed that.
