Poe in Blue Plaid

Poe Studio, Savannah Highway, Charleston, S.C.

Cute little Poe Studio on Savannah Highway is an eye catcher.

Here is a trivia bit about Edgar Allan Poe: when he lied about his age and joined the army he signed up under the name Edgar A. Perry. Yep. When you really want an adventure be a Perry.

This site has some other interesting facts about Edgar Allen Poe.

These people aren't taking any chances of being passed by, are they?

Wow! That plaid looks like a very intricate paint job. He had exceptional patience.

It is pretty eye catching!

Lowandslow - I would dread to think it would need repainting. Who would want to do that again. Pretty cool though.

I think I can honestly say this is the first plaid building I've seen Joan. Fantastic idea for a gift shop, I know I'd really like to know what they have for sale in there!!

What a fun shop! And ole EAP knew what he was doing when he chose Perry! 8-)

Avondale and South Windermere are the two hot spots, we're very fortunate to be able to walk to the store, the library, the bakery, restaurants, dog store, sweet shop, and the list goes on... I enjoy your blog!

I may end up over in that area myself for awhile! It looks like my house on the peninsula may sell. Interesting times!

It looks like general gift and kids items. They do have a web site but everytime I am in that area it is closed.
