This is Random Acts of Kindness Week, kids. What shall we do to celebrate?
Random Acts of Kindness Week focuses on the spirit of hope and goodness. It is a springboard for action. A time to be open, to act upon thoughts of generosity that arise spontaneously from your heart. Just notice what happens as kindness ripples out!
A kind act is "random" when it is unexpected-done simply out of the will to extend goodness, person to person, without expecting anything in return.
Here is one that sent me off to work smiling! Many thanks to Pam and Pamela.

I love it. Joan, not only do you do so much good, you connect people so even more good can be done. I love you. Sally
Smile at a stranger. Let someone in front of you in the grocery checkout line. Chat up someone you've friended on Facebook but haven't talked with. Invite someone around for dinner: make a big pot of spaghetti. Write a blogger you like and tell them so. Always- let people into traffic ahead of you from parking lots.
Darn it. Does this mean I have to be nice to people this week? ;-)
Thanks Sally. You do more than I have ever done, I just get to write it down :)
Waldo - Good ones. I'll do some of them.
Halcyon - Just for a week. We mustn't strain ourselves ;)
I love the concept of Random Acts of Kindness Week, but shouldn't every week be that? :)
Thanks for stopping by my blog, Joan.
I'll try, but it's not going to be easy.
Vicki - Every week is but a little attention doesn't hurt it.
bfarr - Don't hurt yourself! :)
