Cheraw Dance in Mizoram, India
Don't say I never invite you to anything.
My brother Jim is helping to coordinate the Guinness Book of World Records Bamboo Dance in Mizoram in North East India on March 12. That just gives you time to get your passport in order, do a little practice and get a team together. They are aiming for about 12,000 dancers.

That was fun! The bagpipes were a surprise.
British tradition. There are a lot of bagpipe bands in India.
Fascinating!
Loved watching that! Wish I was that
co-ordinated.
How much weight do you think we would lose if we did that every day? What a lovely workout! Thank you for sharing part of your other home with us. I loved it!
Cool, eh! I think Filipinos do a similar dance. Not sure what the record is. This part of India is into breaking world records. They already did a drumming record and a guitar playing record.
I remember doing something similar when I lived in Japan - the local kids came to our base school and taught us. Well, taught the other kids how to dance, taught me how to get bruised up ankles!
Lets go Joan! Remember our Highland dancing days. We could practice up.
love Shirley
JanetLee - I'd probably break my ankle now :)
