Signs & Messages

1st Class Hair Design, Line St., Charleston, SC
Here are a few of the hand painted signs and quirky messages that caught my eye on a recent walk. Make of them what you will!

I watched yesterday's inauguration exactly where I've watched every important event in the last 40ish years - on a hospital television. These moments are imprinted in my brain, who I was with, what hospital, what waiting room. Yesterday's was one of the most awkward since if you don't know everyone you are with you can't read how a comment will be taken. Feelings are strong and raw. Healthcare is in a very uncertain time and that is one of my top concerns. All the best to us all.

The third of these is my favourite.

I will avoid whenever possible any television footage of that man. The sound of his voice alone infuriates me.

I have heard getting angry makes people smarter. Perhaps it forces serious contemplation of the issue at hand and hopefully the forces of action are positive. You know they positive they be better for all.

The marches yesterday indicate a fierce opposition to our new president. I can only wonder how long he will last and I can't believe he will be our leader or perhaps even alive for 4 years.

In some cultures rain is GOOD LUCK. I suppose those cultures are farm based and they live off the land. Hmm, Don't we all kind of sort of.
