My kind of Ninety

If these ladies are an example of ninety years old, sign me up.

I was invited up to Wando Woods Baptist Church yesterday afternoon for a ninety year old's birthday party. Ms. Betty turned ninety and her friend Ilene (below) is just behind her. They are amazing women - active, interested in others, taking classes and volunteering. Both ladies have thousands of hours of volunteer service at Roper and St. Francis Hospital under their belt. Happy birthday Betty!

I've had a busy beginning of the year and just caught up with all your posts from the last two months or so...

They say that having friends, staying active, and continuing to learn is what keeps you young and healthy. It seems your friends figured this out a long time ago.

They do look younger than they are. Are you linking this up with the Aging theme for City Daily Photo?

They do look wonderful. Staying active and involved are the not-so-secret techniques for living well and maybe living long. (Plus a good diet, keeping weight under control and picking the right parents.)

They really have. I work with so many great role models.

This was a happy coincidence! I always forget about the Theme Days. Thanks William.

All that and a dash of good luck, eh?!
