Second Sunday on King St.

Second Sunday, King St., Charleston, S.C.
I hope business owners are reaping the benefits of Second Sunday on King St. because it was jammed packed! I haven't walked through during the actual event for quite awhile and I was amazed. It was a hustle and bustle of activity.

I laugh at myself because I catch myself dodging crowds on a busy sidewalk when the whole point of the event is that automobiles are blocked so you are free to walk in the street. There were so many dogs on display by proud owners it could have been promoted as a dog walking event. Lots of sidewalk dining since the weather is heavenly at the moment and some great street musicians.

That looks like fun! That first picture, at first glance, looks like a photo from a long time ago, with the old movie marquee in the background and sailors in the fore. Very cool! Did you get a corn dog?

Looks like it was well attended. Great sunset in your previous post.

It is a very cool old theater, now an event location. I did not get a hot dog. I found some shoes I really liked that cost $169. I didn't buy them but the sticker shock made me clutch my wallet and go home to eat. If I am a very, very good girl I may buy them yet.

Thanks Barbara. It was very well attended. Normally I am walking through and just catch the set up. This was the first time in a long time that I was in the midst of all the happy chaos.
