Crown Royal Maple tasting event, Social, East Bay St., Charleston, S.C. |
There was a nice sized group and lots of media presence gathered for the brief presentation, toast and demonstration on how to mix drinks. We left as participants were invited to try their hand at mixing their own shot recipe. I am not sure that I would buy a bottle but I can see enjoying a mixed drink with it in. The maple taste is quite strong but I do love maple! That is MY drink being mixed in the last photo.

Gee, no one invites me to events like this.
Whoa! Impressive how he mixed your drink!! Great shots! You keep us informed of all the things happening in the city! Thanks for that!
The bartender, er, sorry, the "mixologist," was brought in from NYC for the evening by Crown Royal. He's Troy Sidle and owns Pouring Ribbons, a popular new bar in New York.
Interesting event.
The blond girl in the first picture looks like singer Cheryl Crow with a dye job! Thought it was her until I read further. Sounds like a fun party, you got some great shots of shots there! 8-)
I did get lucky!
Barbara - this was held at Social on East Bay St. I had been in that building before but not under this management. They had lot of cool paintings and murals.
Thanks Chuck! Thanks for coming with me. Always more fun with a friend.
Yes, different for me.
Harhar :)). They had some good food too. Fun night.
The wine man pouring from the 2 meters height is awesome. Regards http://lovenewthing.blogspot.in/
