Tilted houses

Warren St., Charleston, S.C.

With old Charleston houses it's hard to tell if I've held the camera crooked or if the house is. I don't think it was me this time.

If the end of the world is on Saturday, I should take tomorrow off and have fun shopping, eh!

  1. I've seen 'em worse. But not one I built, of course.

I think Saturday is definitely a day to wear clean underwear. *wink*

  2. I enjoy both your photos and your wit. You obviously have some madcap admirers, too (see above comment!).

    I like the prayer flags.

  4. Ahhh but have you planned beyond Saturday?? LOL

  5. lowandslow - I read that the fun prank would be to lay clothes items on the sidewalk and in your yard as if you have been lifted up!

Kate - I have great commentors! Lowandslow and I have never met but have been blog buddies for many years. He met his wife blogging and announced his wedding on his blog.

    Anon - Me too!

maggsworld - caught me. I was worrying about projects due next week on my ride home. Guess I don't have to think about them, eh!

  6. The view of the open door just makes you wonder what's behind it. And I sure hope those plant pots are secured on that skinny porch rail!

Regarding the end of the world, I recently saw a bumper sticker that said, "Come the rapture, can I have your car?"

  7. Pixel - the Rapture jokes have been a hoot!

  8. The door is open..... is it as nice inside as it is outside??
Love the colors and the small details.

  9. I am sure it is a college student rental. Most of these big old houses are. These kids look like they are enjoying themselves in Charleston.

Leave me a comment. They make me strong.
