Too bad I'm not a writer

Keats at Shelley

Kipling at Shelley
What a shame I'm not a writer. I've moved to the right neighborhood for them. There are more....Longfellow, Byron, Browning, Barrett. That settles it. I need to start writing.

But you're a reader, aren't you? Hie thee to a library and check some out...if you're like me, you will be happy to make their acquaintance again.

I am! I used to be a real bookworm. That was before I got a laptop. I've forgotten how to read a book. Now I charge right through it and can't pace myself. I find myself awake at 3 am reading just one more chapter.

That settles it: I need to get on the town board and become responsible for naming the roads around this woebegone place. 1. Silage Heap Row 2. Shag Sack Street 3. Absolute Twaddle Alley 4. F*@&er Freeway 5. Bastard Axe Broadway

(all names inspired by the movie "Withnail & I")

Hahah.....Twaddle Alley. Cracked me up.

i'd love to know the history behind this naming. seems there was a poetic soul at the d.o.t.

But your photos tell a story. Doesn't that count? ;)

Seems to me you are a writer. You keep this up nearly every day. I always like the corner of Walk and Don't Walk.

Sometimes they must have fun naming streets. It must get hard to come up with anything new.

Thank you!
