Floating Camellia

Camellia
I have a soft spot for reflections and was chasing this camellia around the pond as it floated in and out of cloud and branch reflections. The camera couldn't decide what to focus on but in this shot it hit the blossom quite well.

More later, kids! I am off to hunt and gather. Food. Food. I always get home starving.

Oh, a flower. I was expecting something about Prince Charles' wife. I thought you'd turned into an international paparazzi. ;)

Different spelling. She is Camilla. Different branch and not floating I hope!

Lovely image. My mother always had a passion for camellias but where we lived the soil was to sandy to see them take and thrive. In fact, the salt and the sand ended up killing them all over time. Didn't stop mum trying though. I would have that image large and on canvas and framed and hanging in her living room.
