Glorious Greenery
Meeting St., Charleston, S.C.
Wow. Isn't this a glorious show?
It makes me a bit ashamed that I just got rid of my window boxes but to be fair mine tend to end up as trash cans for the college kids in the neighborhood.
I think nicely done (read: live) window box greenery can really dress up a house. Unfortunately I couldn't grow a fern in a rain forest, so I leave window boxes to others. :)
Don't know about the chocolatey purple stuff, but the plants with the hot pink stripes are coleus, and the bright green extra long stuff is sweet potato vine! Always looks great in window boxes and places they have room to trail.

They are beautiful, Joan. Time for you to try your window boxes again.
