A house divided

Pitt St., Charleston, S.C.

Oooops. Usually a house divided in the lowcountry means USC vs Clemson not England and India. Interesting!

In this case it is more likely College of Charleston rental property. Soccer maybe? I took it about a month ago.

I smell expatriates or maybe student type youngish travellers and a shared rental property.

My guess is,that's it's a temporary mood and perhaps not about the perennial Indo-Brit nostalgia. The mood may be reflective of the recent CWG where England & India vied with each other closely. The former may have got the 2nd place, but since India got more gold medals,England got the 3rd position. In hockey, both countries did not score, but in the penalty stroke,India scored more.Between these two countries it was a case of chances.Reminded me of the situation in 1947 when the then Monarch of England who was also referred to as the King-Emperor of British India, could have taken a justifiable chance to extend it's winding-up stage stay in India by at least a decade.Acording to researchers it was the USA who gave no such scope to its Ally in the Second World War where the larger say esp.,after the atomic bomb episodes, was with the emerging international actor.
