This is Buzzy Newton's house - owner of Piggly Wiggly Carolina Co. He used to live in the Sword Gate House at 32 Legare St.(which is home to one of my favorite haunted stories in Charleston!) When he lived there the piggies weren't very visible behind that wonderful iron gate. I'm glad they now have a prominent and visible home on The Battery!
I came here to comment on the elegant pig statue at this elegant house. Then, I wanted to comment on yesterday's Big Ass farm. Then, I wanted to congratulate you on the nursing award for your hospital, posted Monday. Gee, I can't decide which!
Beach Bum - This is on the Battery! Pamela is right, this is owned by the folks who owned Piggly Wiggly. If it is good enough for them I think you can have cement pigs.
Pamela - Thanks!
Marcheline - I voted! Is it a one time thing or daily?

It's the Piggly Wiggly house on the Battery!!! :)
I think I might get a couple for my house. I'm sure the neighbors would have a fit.
