Boom! The Oleanders are in bloom!
Coming St., Charleston, S.C.
Overnight. Boom. Bloom. God's gift to Charleston to make up for the giant palmetto bugs that arrive at the same time. It's a familiar sequence - spot two giant roaches, one lizard and then get distracted by the blossoms. Ohhhh....pretty!
It is a iced coffee kinda day isn't it?
If you can, please do support the "Do the Charleston" car free Sunday tomorrow from 12 - 5. King St. will be closed to traffic and you will be able to wander freely enjoying outside dining, a King St. Scavenger hunt and entertainment. Here is their Twitter feed to find out what is going on. See you there! Bring your dogs for me to pet and your children to admire.
