The final touch

Meeting St., Charleston, S.C.

A freshly painted firehouse dog getting the final highlight on her nose. How sweet is that?

At first glance, I thought that was a real dog. Realistic paint job.

Cool. It's the first ever firehouse dog I have seen. That guy seems to know what he is doing.

There is a "toy" of a very realistic sleeping puppy my in-laws bought and placed in the corner of their living room that even simulates breathing. As I walked into their living room seeing the toy it looked so real to me I went around the rest of the house whispering and tip-toeing until they asked why.

The result was a real laugh on their part and a red face on mine.

bfarr - isn't it great! It's always in the spot on the sidewalk in front of the firehouse.

Steffe - :) Dalmatians. They are connected to fire-stations here.

Beach Bum - Awwwwww. Cute story. I bet they won't let you forget that.
