Snow in the Palm Trees

Charleston, S.C.

Snow! How perfect that it is snowing in Charleston while I am watching the opening ceremonies of the winter Olympics in Vancouver. Yipee! I know the rest of the country is weary of the snow but it only happens every ten years or in the lowcountry. We might see a flake or two but it rarely sticks to the ground like this.

My only regret is that is is too dark out to go for a walk or get decent pictures. Stay warm, kids!

Isn't it beautiful? I got some good pics of my palm trees loaded down w/ snow this AM. Can't wait to see what you come up w/ today. What a wonderful way to start the day--waking to a winter wonderland!

Snow is better than ice! You don't have any good sledding hills there though, do you?

I thought the same thing about the Olympics! It was so fitting to have it snowing during the opening ceremonies!

It was so much fun. I should have up earlier. It melted quickly.

No. no hills as all. Lots of little snowmen melting today though.

It set the perfect mood!
