Teeny, tiny houses of Charleston

Society St., Charleston, S.C.

This is another one of my favorite teeny, tiny little houses in Charleston. This one probably isn't as small as it looks since it has an extra wing added on the back.

Isn't this Haiti business a sad mess? I donated a bit to Water Missions International in their name. At least I know and trust the organization and they have water purification systems made and ready to be shipped. They shipped two systems to Haiti Wednesday. Ten more go tonight and another ten more this weekend. If you are looking for a place to donate - you can't go wrong with clean water.

I thought about you when I read about those purification systems in the News. Thanks for the link: water is fundamental!

Great! They were featured on CNN this morning. Our hospital just donated $15,000 and people are bringing me money.

Thanks for the link. I've been trying to think what I could do and this is perfect.

I like this little house that you posted today, with it's peeling stucco and old brick peeking through.

I'm pretty sure that's the house a school buddy lived in back in the 1950s. I'm sending him a copy. It was bight pink then

That's the last house on the left before you come onto East Bay near Harris Teeter. Right?

Chucker is correct; I lived in the pink house at the corner of Society St. It's #30 & Society St. is the only street in the U.S. by that name. I lived there from Jun. 54 til Apr. 66. The house is a bit small, but comfey for 3 or 4 people. I have some before photos if you want them. Have a Great Day! Bernie...
