Saturday Hodgepodge

Calhoun & King, Charleston, S.C.

Google map of Charleston "most likely to flood" streets. It isn't quite the Flood Cam that I want but could come in handy these days! Thanks Jess!

A "saying what you mean" sign

Book of Joe, the world's top blogging Anesthesiologist found these cool bag openers. I like anything that is palmetto bug proof.

Even mug shots look good when they are vintage.

Walked the Spring, Canon, Bogard route this morning. Had lunch at Blossom Cafe. Yummy, yummy buttermilk battered fried artichoke hearts. Napped. House is still a mess, half stuffed sock monkey carcasses laying around but not a bad Saturday so far. What are y'all up to?

What a fun city corner! Looks like a lot of activity going on! And sounds like you had a great day of doing what you wanted to do, the house can wait to be cleaned just a little longer. Love the sock monkey carcass image. - I had an emotional day of helping my son pack his things since he will be leaving for Air Force bootcamp tomorrow. I am burying this emotional crap until he leaves so that I will not distress him!

Nikki - it is a bustling main intersection. I was standing in the midst of the Farmer's Market action.

Aww...you are going to miss your boy. That is such a rush into being a grown up. Hang in there.
