Quick entry to share a link I happened upon to the World Traveler's Blog - an account of a solo ride around the world by bicycle by a young Danish gentleman.
Wow. Wish I'd known he was coming through town. In this entry he was in Charleston and took a nice set of pictures. I always enjoy seeing familiar scenes through a visitor's eyes.

I was also able to check out his trek through the Republic of Georgia where my son has recently moved to serve in the Peace Corps. It gave me a much better sense of what he's surrounded by & the conditions he's living in.
