Before & After

Ashley Ave., Charleston, SC

I walk the same streets often enough to follow home repair progress. Nice paint choice on this Ashley & Montague house I thought.

My son is here trying to fix a nasty virus invasion on my PC. What a mess. I had to call in the big guns and make blueberry pancakes.

Hope everyone is having a good weekend.

Love how they have two color samples and go with something totally different.

B Squared: I am glad they did. Much prefer the end result to the sample colors.

I found your post through your comment on Julie's Scottsdale Daily Photo site. I have never seen color samples actually painted on a building the way you would get paint color samples from a paint or hardware store. They were both nice colors, but I think the federal blue color chosen looks more appropriate for a building exterior than the lavender, especially in such a traditional place as Charleston.

Very nice choice!

Catalyst, Julie: I think so.

Dave: It is required in the historic district here to get colors approved. Luckily we have lots of choices. They probably had to put the samples up and let folks from the Board of Architectural review drive by and look at them.
