Mini lending library on State St.

Mini library, State St., Charleston, SC
Cute little pink mini library on State St. I love this idea and hope it works as well as I imagine. I never use them myself since I have completely switched to downloaded kindle reading. I never would have guessed how much I love it. I don't buy books anymore at all which is fortunate since I've downsized to a small home with little storage.

Short walk again this evening due to the heat. I waited so late it was dark when I came back in. Stay cool, kids!

Free Little Libraries - Avondale

Mini Library, West Ashley - Charleston, SC
I love these free little libraries with loaned books and discovered two in my own neighborhood this morning on my drizzly walk. I won't be putting 10,000 on the step counter today. It is wet and windy out there.

Watch your head on Magnolia Rd. The low branch is going to wallop someone in the head in the dark.

Mini Libraries

Mini Library at Black Tap Coffee Shop, Beaufain St., Charleston, S.C.

I have been enchanted with some of the mini libraries people have been creating lately to make books available. This link shows them made from old newspaper boxes. Check out these images of little libraries built for yards. So cute! I haven't seen any like that but I was tickled to come across this box of books in front of Black Tap Coffee Shop on Beaufain St. Thanks folks!
