Ready to dig

Garden tool gate, Hwy 52, SC   

I am always willing to detour to admire this gate made of garden tools at the now abandoned Carolina Nursery on Hwy 52 between Goose Creek and Monks Corner. No matter what becomes of the property I hope the gate is salvaged and reinstalled somewhere cool.

He is Born!

Bon Secours St. Francis Hospital, Charleston, S.C.

I know it for a fact because I drove out to the hospital to watch the nurses lift him from the warming isolette and carry him out to the manger.

Visitors have been reporting the missing baby Jesus for weeks at the hospital but this is our tradition. He waits in the Newborn Nursery until midnight on Christmas Eve and this evening Jessie gently did the honors.
