More blossoms!

Colonial Lake, Charleston, SC
I did a quick walk in town this morning and I'm glad I did. Charleston is a garden in bloom. The Parks Conservancy did a lot of work at Colonial Lake and today it is paying off. These brilliant pink roses are growing around all of the Palmetto trees at the lake and are in full bloom. It is quite a show.

Easter Blossoms at Marion Square

Marion Square, Charleston, S.C.
The masses of daffodils in bloom at Marion Square were a happy Easter surprise! According to the sing, they appear to be the work of the Charleston Parks Conservancy. Well done!

I hope everyone had a good Easter.

If you go down to the woods today....

Marlene Williamon, Teddy Bear's Picnic, Hampton Park, Charleston, S.C.
I spotted my friend Marlene setting up for the Charleston Parks Conservancy Teddy Bear picnic yesterday afternoon at Hampton Park. There are lots of cute pictures on their facebook page.

I can't help humming the Teddy Bear's Picnic song by Anne Murray. You know you want to hear it again too:
