Some things never change

Backroads, SC
I took this exact same picture years ago! It was a favorite then so when I spotted it again I had to grab an update. I didn't need to rush. This vehicle isn't going anywhere anytime soon, is it?

Happy Thursday kids! I am going to the Symphony Pop concert tonight like a grown up.

Tool Collage

Vintage Tools, Summerville, SC
Old doors and more! Vintage South in Summerville has all kinds of vintage odds and ends and it's hard to resist stopping by to see if they might have a fancy door handle or cast iron skillet that you didn't know you needed.

Theme Day - Abandoned

Backroads, SC
I am having a lazy day other than a long walk around the neighborhood this morning. I saved the link to this Lemon Greek Chicken recipe, walked to the grocery store in a round about way, bought the ingredients, made it and ate it and rewarded myself with a nap.

The first day of the month is "theme" day in the Daily Photo community. I flipped through some of my backroads albums and this shot seemed to fit the bill and is one of my favorites.

All That's Left

All That's Left, Charleston Farmer's Market, Charleston, SC
I was combining my morning walk with vegetable shopping at the Charleston Farmer's Market this morning when these clunky bracelets caught my eye. Unique!

He was using vintage buckles and clasps that his mother had bought in a large batch from a sale at Medway Plantation. What a great idea. The vendor's name is Steven Stafford and he has called his part of the business "All That's Left". Some of the bracelets were very tempting. Check them out at the Farmer's Market.
