I go for a long walk every weekend morning and during the spring it is hard to resist walking through the gardens at
Magnolia Plantation. Wow.....look at this. We aren't at peak blooming season yet but it is completely glorious. I did more stopping and admiring the flowers than I did quick marching. I renewed my annual pass so I will be back frequently.
I hope everyone had a good weekend. If you didn't it wasn't because of the weather. Busy week ahead so I am lollygagging and watching the Army Wives sad episode. Sniff.
Beautiful photos Joan ! Composition perfect on the first one and the statuary is very appealing.
ReplyDeleteThanks Kate!
DeleteGorgeous! Keep on walking and taking photos.
ReplyDeleteI will. It is like going out hunting. The walk feels more worthwhile if I bag a good photo or two.
Deletebeautiful pictures Joan :)
ReplyDeleteThanks Gina! Can't go wrong at Magnolia.
Deletelove the focus on the first one!
ReplyDeleteI've been trying to make interesting backgrounds for flowers lately. Thanks much.
Deleteyou can't imagine how sweet these appear to winter weary eyes.
ReplyDeleteCharleston is bursting into bloom. In a week the entire city will be a garden. I think it is the law that we should each have an azalea bush :)
DeleteKate is right. I LOVE your composition! As somebody who really struggles with this, it is very helpful to see it done this well.
ReplyDeleteThanks Carl. I go there so often, over so many years - now the challenge is to try to come up with a different shot. It makes me creative. I was on my knees in bushes for a few of them.
DeleteBeautiful images.
ReplyDeleteThanks Barbara!
DeleteGah! Gorgeous! We're still freezing our weasel teats off up here in New York. A few brave crocuses are up, but it's just bitter cold!
