ReplyDeletebrattcat - my blog rolls over to facebook and sometimes entries that get no comments here get a lot on there. Someone mentioned "Curl Up and Dye" one of my favorites!
ReplyDeleteThe words "Reeves & Son" on the photo, reminds me of a signboard which gave me a pleasant surprise. It was the one with the words "Mother & Sons" and that too on an electric parts & repair shop!I have also seen "Sisters Beauty Parlour" but that was not as touching as the former.Others which impressed were (1)Via (Travel Agent).(2) Sip Chew (Tea & Snacks shop) (3)Touchwood (Timber Store).(4)Iron Maiden(Metallic Parts Store ).(5)Screwdriver (Motor Repair Shop).(6)Y Not Juice (I presume that the alphabet Y is a proxy for a statement and not a question).(7)Scissors & Comb(Gents Hair-Cut Saloon).(8)Nurture Nook (a Nursery School in a corner).Words which have zapped me are "Pious" & "Weird" seen on two signboards and that too of shops posing as industries!.And the signboards which make me smile the most, are those mentioned in my comment to your post "Red dot,dot,dot..." dated January 29th of last year.
