Da Bogarden

Bogard & Rutledge Ave., Charleston, S.C.

Lowcountry Community Gardens: New downtown community garden sprouting. The corner lot of Rutledge and Bogard in downtown Charleston is on the way to becoming Charleston's newest community garden!

How about that, eh? I found a new garden and a new gardening blog. Too late for the neighborhood cookout but I'll check back and see what's growing in a few weeks.

  1. How cool is that. I really like the idea of taking an unused plot of urban land and using it. I can smell the flowers already.

  2. I think we need more of these community gardens. I'll be interested to see how it comes along.

Is there a newsletter or blog associated with the garden so those in the community can find out information?
