Fun Store Window Scene

Merrill Benfield Interior Design, Hasell St, Charleston, SC

I was lugging a backpack full of groceries home from Harris Teeter the other day when I spotted this happy surprise. What a cool store window design! We should take turns dressing the part and sitting in the chair in the scene. It would be fun to see how long it took passers by to notice.

  1. Coincidentially, K took Emma Belle (our mini-schnauzer) on a neighborhood walk this past weekend and she (Emma) saw her first mannequin. She didn't know what to think of it, but eventually decided it was worth a bark.

That looks like a fun store. :)

  5. I came past our local hardware store two days ago and one of the guys from the store was sitting in a lawn chair in the store display window, talking on a cell phone.

How come all the guys are coming on strong here? I see me in a cloche hat with a foot-long cigarette holder...

  8. I was picturing a woman but I'll take anyone's photo. I wonder if I can catch someone to get permission. It looks more like an Interior Decorators office than an actual shop.

  9. Doesn't the mannequin in the tux look like Humphrey Bogart?

I was gonna say... (see Susan's comment) looks like a scene from Casablanca. All you need is a piano.

  12. Uh... someone tell zakton that is not a mannequin, but a resin statue of Humphrey Bogart! Like, on purpose. 8-)
