Achy Arm
Charleston, SC
Achy brachy arm. I dashed from work to Ritz Camera to get rush visa pictures taken yesterday and this morning to Dr. Tim West's office to get my travel shots for Kenya. He had promised to take care of me but looked downright disappointed that I only needed Hep A and Typhoid since I went to Peru just a couple of years ago. I took both in the left arm figuring I might as well have one arm that didn't ache.
By the way, Ritz Camera is going out of business West Ashley. Sob. Everything is at least 10% and may go lower. Time for camera buffs to stock up.
Isn't odd that the visa application specifies "no computer generated pictures" when the sales clerk takes my picture with his digital camera and prints it right out? With help like that Ritz Camera should have been able to stay in business.
I've been too busy for it to really sink in but I am going to Kenya on May 4th to be present for the commissioning of the Water Purification System that our health system bought for a little hospital and surrounding community. Wow.
Here's hoping the trip is everything you want it to be, and more!
ReplyDeleteThe hospital couldn't have a better ambassador. And you get to help present a wonderful gift.
Stock up on memory cards for your camera! I suspect you'll need 'em.
Excellent, Joanie. What an honor. Have a great trip.
ReplyDeleteMrScribbler - Kenya pictures are going to kinda stand out on the "Charleston Daily Photo" site, eh?:)
ReplyDeleteCatalyst: An honor indeed. I feel very privileged.
That is amazing, I am so jealous!
ReplyDeleteFun! Need someone to carry your camera?
