Wisteria blossoms, Meeting St., Charleston, SC |
I can't resist directing my morning walk towards this wisteria display on Meeting St. each year. It is one of the annual traditions I look forward to and would hate to miss. I've been busy lately and my Magnolia annual pass needs to be renewed but I made sure to enjoy some spring blossoms this morning.
Glorious!
ReplyDeleteI think I would have asked that lady in the purple coat to pose directly beneath the wisteria. She matches them.
ReplyDeleteA right of passage we expect and appreciate from you!Just like you happy new year shells on Folly Beach. Thanks Joan!
ReplyDeleteThis is one of my favorite plants ever... am currently training one into a tree. What a lot of people don't know is that a young wisteria plant can take up to 7 years to actually bloom. Lots of people expect to buy it, plant it, and have immediate results. Like any real southern lady, Miss Wisteria expects a lot of patience and attention before she gives you any sort of reward!
