Teeny, tiny houses of Charleston

Cannon St., Charleston, S.C.
Here is another entry in our teeny, tiny houses of Charleston collection. This sweetie is hardly noticed because it is hidden behind two large homes. Since the one on the right is undergoing a major and long overdue renovation project it has cleared the view for the time being. It would be nice if this little darling was next in line for some tender, loving care.

  1. Looks like some kind of renovation is being planned for teeny house.

  2. That teeny tiny house looks like it's precariously balanced on some bricks!

  3. Maybe that's why the porch was built, to support the house if it tries to tip off those bricks.

  4. Is this on Ashley Ave.? If so, friends of mine used to live in it during college - @ 100 years ago!

Judging from the dueling upstairs windows, it appears if it has two narrow rooms on the top floor, although it's not possible to tell how far they go back from the front view. Is this the Charleston version of a shotgun shack?
