Wonder what they are doing to St. Matthew's Lutheran Church now? There always seem to be some renovations in progress on these old churches.
Charleston has had some good job news lately! Yay, paychecks for everyone! Benefitfocus is adding 1,200 jobs on Daniel Island and Boeing is tripling it's presence. This is great news.
It's sometimes required to shelter scaffolding... either for esthetic reasons or practical. This church does look quite wrapped up like that!

He would have done it in a bright color. Orange probably.
