Garden gate, Charleston, S.C. |
I have some extra time to ponder all the leaves landing in my yard because I broke out in another horrid case of poison ivy from raking leaves last week. That is all I did....rake leaves. No weeding or gardening. It is very discouraging. Hmmmph. I am not happy at all. I have sprinkles all over but had some on my neck and my eyes were puffy. Luckily it seems to be subsiding without actually blistering on my face. I thought I might have to buy a burka to wear to work so I wouldn't scare people.
Y'all have a good weekend. This hurricane in the Philippines makes me realize how many wonderful Filipinos we have in the Lowcountry especially working in healthcare and I hope their loved ones are safe and sound.
Looks like you got a spammer past the filters...
ReplyDeleteIt's a lovely shot.
Yes, they are persistent. They usually hit old entries.
DeleteWhat a lovely gate - somehow moreso because you can just move three feet to the right and walk through the open space. I'm guessing that space can be blocked off by yet another gate. Sorry you have poison ivy - that is so annoying!
ReplyDeleteUggghhh on the poison ivy! Your comment about wearing a burka to work has me wondering if wearing one while raking leaves would protect you.
ReplyDeleteI know what you mean about blogging and commenting while on your tablet. I love my iPad, but I've never attempted to blog with it, and I rarely write comments while on it. It's just too cumbersome.
Love the picture of the gate!
Have you ever tried putting "Greased Lightning" cleaner on your poison ivy? It dries it up quickly and makes it itch less
ReplyDeleteThis is a very pretty place, Joan. (Sorry about the poison ivy . . . )
