Pig parts aren't just for eating! A few weeks ago, here in my little Kentucky town, a lady went on a rampage in a gas station market. She finally managed to shatter the plate glass window in the front of the store by throwing a jar of pickled pigs' feet through it. Only in the south!

Definitely in the South - ain't it the truth.
I'm in! ;)

I tried some at Cypress. No thanks.
EEEK! How can anything "with attached skin" not come with big warnings??
May not be truly healthy, but delicious! Haven't had a decent smoked pork hock in years; guess I'll just have to go South to find some!
But the cracklins are made in Chicago...probably south Chicago!!
A snack staple for us kids growing up.
Doesn't it sound awful?
I saw that!
And now all this stuff is fashionable and sold as gourmet snacks in expensive restaurants.
I know. It is the latest gourmet treat.
Reminds me of the time I went to the store for my darlin' and uttered words I never thought I would--"Where are the hog jowls, please?"
