Walking the Dog

Avondale Murals, Charleston, S.C.

Time to walk the dog before it gets too hot out.

I didn't realize quite how much I use my debit card until I couldn't. Bank of America sent me an email alert of suspicious charges. When we backtracked down the list, although they had stopped a $800 charge, there were a series of charges to dating sites including "Christian Cafe." Hmmmph. I hope I meet someone nice.

I am steering my walk past Harris Teeter this morning. I bought all the ingredients for a Key Lime Pie except for the cream cheese.

Later kids!

  1. Ha, that's cute. It looks like he's slipped his leash.

I use my debit card for everything except online purchases. I'd be lost without it. I absolutely hate it when I have to write an old-fashioned check.

  2. I know. This is a balancing act until I get my new card.

  3. We recently received our AmEx bill and found out that we had bought airline tickets from Casablanca to Istanbul. Too bad we weren't the ones getting to enjoy the trip!

  4. Meghan - at least you had interesting thieves! That is original.

  5. They steal your card and go to Christian Cafe, really? Holy thieves, now. I wonder if the pup was painted on the wall before or after the advent of the coiled wire. That blue bit behind him looks like the long, billowing skirt of his owner.

    1. Christian Cafe - isn't that the limit? Who steals a card just to sign up on dating sites. Too odd. OF course the bank denied an $800 charge that got their attention. I appreciate that.

    1. Key Lime! Didn't even have to turn the oven hot which is nice in this heat.
