Check out VanessaK's photos of the Tall Ships in Savannah. Wow.
Noah Moore wrote a lovely entry about his mother for Mother's Day.
I love it when Cocktails in Charleston features a tilt shift photo in lieu of a cocktail.
Good night kids. Someone turn the lights out.
Love your steam pic! What the heck is "tilt shift"? Looks like a photo of a toy car in a diorama... very cool effect! How do you DO that though?
ReplyDeleteIsn't it a cool effect? It makes things look like a miniature world.
DeleteThe green -rimmed bike matches the foilage. The woman looks a wee bit chilly and the steam underscores the temperature...perhaps.
ReplyDeleteThanks Kate! It was such a moody, mysterious look.
DeleteTiming is everything! Great shot! I like the little cottage from your last post. I always wonder what people think when they see me taking a picture of their home. I think I might go out and ask why but would not be upset by it.
ReplyDeleteI thought the cottage was empty because it didn't look like there was a power meter to it. The resident might be a squatter camping out. You can see his white shoes in the lower picture as he stood there looking at me. Oooops.
DeleteThanks for the shout out!
ReplyDeleteLove those tilt shift shots! You find the best view points.
DeleteMy question is...what would be the "right direction" of the blowing steam??? Pam D.
ReplyDeleteGreat shot. How perfect with the steam, the bike and the woman. Nice capture.
ReplyDeleteDarryl and Ruth :)
