Backyard brunch, Charleston, S.C. |
Check out my lush green back yard. I've already bought a bird feeder and am enjoying visiting song birds. I scrubbed out my electric stove (blah...I love gas stoves) and made blueberry pancakes for brunch on Sunday. It was lovely and cool outside.
Zoom in for a close up below and check out the Perry Trucking mug courtesy of my brother Roger. I didn't spot the dark flecks in the maple syrup until after I'd gobbled up my delicious pancakes....yep, floating dead ants. Ooops!
Opps - do you need a new supply of Maple Syrup for Canada?
ReplyDeleteThe breakfast looks delicious.

Hahah! What a mess, eh? I can get some here and I'll check it more carefully this time. Hope your open house went well.
Delete"from Canada"
ReplyDeleteThe table and chairs gracing your backyard looks like it will be well-used this summer! Great looking breakfast, even the cholesterol-laden bacon! A few ants won't hurt you...just a tiny bit more protein.
ReplyDeleteBacon now and then is a worthwhile treat in my opinion. Gotta have a few slices with pancakes and eggs :)
DeleteBRILLIANT TITLE! And ooooh does that breakfast ever look delicious... Even with the added protein, ha ha!
ReplyDeletebarbara - I think we much be close to each other. I'll run into you sooner or later!
DeleteNotihng beats al freaco dining. Looks wonderful, "protein" and all. ;)
